Unique event space

From artists' shows, to family reunions, to summer league sporting end-of-season parties, to weddings, to fundraisers, this space has something for everybody!  The Barnsite event space begins on the ground floor in a gallery space with track lighting; sandblasted wood posts, beams, and ceilings; warmly finished concrete floors and nice south light. Frequently the home of photography and pottery shows, we welcome artists and their work here, with the upper level being the ideal place for the "opening" event for any art show.  Whatever your event is, you style and decorate the space to create your own unique and personalized event.  Contact us for details.

The second floor opens into the full loft of the barn, what we call the Great Room, with a ceiling that soars 40 feet high. This is the traditional "big barn" space, but is unique in it's layout. While most barns are not heated, this great space has been insulated and is heated. This is where the dance floor unfolds with plenty of space for seating, DJ set up, and of course - busting out your best moves! Through the doors of the Great Room lies the lounge - with MORE open space and seating - this is the area that houses the bar constructed from only materials found in the barn itself.  There are 3 bathrooms in the events area of the barn. (Additionally, 2 full bathrooms and one 1/2 bathroom are available in the residence.)  The beautiful outdoor deck is accessed from inside the Great Room via giant double fiber-glass doors with photographer's favorite filtered natural light.

Unique living space

The residence, built right into the Barn (!) has approximately 1500 square feet of living space which includes a full kitchen, large laundry room, living room, dining room, den, 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. The master bedroom has a queen bed and full bath. There are bedrooms on the second floor of each silo (2 total). These are accessed by separate winding staircases and would use the first floor 1/2 bath. (The winding staircases are not easily maneuvered by the elderly or very young.) One silo bedroom has a queen bed and the other one has a full bed. There are two other bedrooms on the second floor. One has a full bed and the other has single bunkbeds (loved by kids!). These two bedrooms are near the full bath on the second floor. There is also a daybed on the second floor balcony and a bed can be set up in the den for overflow.

Wheelchair accessibility for both levels of the events spaces, and the main level (not upper) of the residence.

Luscious landscaping, countless flower beds and a diverse variety of unique mature and smaller trees surround the entire barn, adding to the visual delights of this gorgeous space.
